I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
