Adapted from a foundational pillar in classic storytelling, The Odyssey follows the epic journey of the legendary King of Ithaca. After his triumph in the Trojan War, which is depicted in Homer's Iliad, Odysseus endures an extended and hazardous road home.
Legendary Obstacles with an All-Star Cast
On his travels, Odysseus confronts countless challenges and mythical beings. These include the witch-goddess Circe, who transforms men into swine, and the deceptive Sirens. Despite these trials, Odysseus vows to overcome anything to get back to Penelope and Telemachus in Ithaca.
The adaptation's cast boasts an impressive lineup. Alongside the leading trio are Charlize Theron as the cunning Circe, alongside Zendaya, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, Elliot Page, and Jon Bernthal.

Homer's epic has seen numerous adaptations throughout history. These range from modern retellings and a late-90s dance production. It has even been adapted into a musical titled Epic: The Musical, presented as a nine-album collection.
